Important Note for Athletes and Bodybuilders: BMI may not accurately reflect the health or fitness level of individuals with high muscle mass, as it does not differentiate between muscle and fat.
In contrast, body fat percentage offers a more nuanced view by measuring the proportion of fat relative to total body weight. This measurement, which can be assessed through various methods such as specialized scales or body calipers, provides deeper insights into one's health than BMI alone, accounting for differences in sex, age, height, and weight.
